I'd be interested, but my car was built in 4/85. Any chance of an earlier model being made?

Tyler,
Your '85 535i should have a G265 which uses the same shift rod as the E28 M5. So the DSSR we need for the M5s is the same piece you need.

I was curious i have a 1985 BMW 535 i e28 and its an m30 motor 5 speed tranny i just broke my shift connector rod ( selector rod) and well they seem pretty flimsy and from what i been reading this is a good swap are they available and if so from where thank you for any info. i really want to get my 5 back out on the road asap
