Agreed. Coming from the weighted zhp shift knob, you definitely have the throw some more weight into each shift. It hid some of the notchiness from my short shifter and higher mileage transmision. I’ve gotten used to it now.

It's one of the things that adds to the experience of driving the B7 Turbo. It's a little smaller than the standard mushroom knob, lighter and does have a more delicate feel. I really do like the knob but being one of those things that makes the car special, I am conflicted on putting one in another car.

Received mine today from the eBay seller Mike purchased from. It's very nice. I was incredibly worried since the box arrived crushed but the minimal amount of packing material actually saved the Alpina box and packaging. I'd have been pretty upset if any of that was damaged.
