Solid build. I ended up actually really liking the dark wood steering wheel and shift knob combo once the interior was in. Since you're going with leather everything on the interior, I'd recommend looking for a leather e-brake handle from an e32. Was an easy and cheap upgrade that you feel every time you're in the car. Is your sunshade the e28 model or from another model? I'm currently waiting on one from Germany.

So glad that someone else likes the darker wood grain. I think that is my favorite combo as well. I had not thought of the leather e-brake handle. I definitely like that idea. I will post something on the parts forum perhaps. Or is there a better place to look? I actually don't have a rear sunshade. I have been looking and found one option but I'm not sure that I want to cut up my rear shelf to retrofit it. I am also on the look out for a nice aftermarket piece.

Ahh yes the front sunshade. That is an e28 model. Bought it from someone here last year. I found a leather ebrake handle from south26 (Andy) here in about 10 min after you mentioned it. Will see how it looks. Thanks for the suggestion!
