It's different. This is my 5th bmw and 2nd e28. Figured I'd just play with it.

DAMN PHOTOBUCkET!!!!!
So i got the exhaust back on, along with the block off plate. I also put in a new center support bearing and guibo. While i took everything apart i found that the driveshaft bolts were cross threaded
So i replaced all the bolts also.
