Nice car immortal, glws, but you asked for it........
The guys aren't even being rude....I would suggest a slice of humble pie, especially if you are stating for people to say what they want.
That's my 28¢......

You keep digging that hole, immortal. We're certainly enjoying watching you do it.
What is it with sellers of M535i cars? Maybe I don't want one afterall.

Say what you will, but don't ask my why this or that hasn't been done because that has been addressed more than once. I have apologized more than once about wrongly rating my car, so again I'm sorry. This car is for sale, there will be no more money invested. It was great to see the influx of PMs from other members with kind words, always encouraging to see the light.
I truly do wish you would understand but it's very clear you're too engrossed in your selfworth to see what an absolute idiot you are. Personal attacks will not deter Kohler or anyone else on this forum. What do you have for me? We've seen it before and we will see it again. You spend more time defending your Dead Animal of a car than you should trying to revive it. That is typical of a flipper - not an enthusiast.
I do care - not about what you do or what kind of total idiot you are - but about the other members of this forum that will see the pretty outside of your car and fall for the Style VS Substance argument I have put across. Simple deferred maintenance SCREAMS Major Deferred maintenance here. Anyone willing to bet the brake fluid is Black?? What are the consequences of deferring maintenance on the brakes? Gee I don't know and I don't care because I'm spending my time and money somewhere else. DUHHH.
Waiting to see what childish personal attack you have for me. Thanks in advance as I look forward to it. And please no Gay jokes as I hold the LGBT community in much higher regard than an idiot like you.

I just gotta say that the commentary on the infomercial is hilarious. Side-splitting. Is that Rick Steves?
I just gotta say it, and I don't care if you like it: it's not a $13,000 car. At least not for me or anybody that I know...

WOW.....the video of the M535i speaks volumes of why this car is not worth anything close to $13,000.00 and that video is dated. I am sure that the car has not improved over time.
This is why this forum is so great......we protect our own!
My number would be $8,000.00 due to the amount of work to be put forth to catch up the deferred maintenance.
Good luck! You will need it.

Kid, you *do* realize that James Woods reportedly has an IQ somewhere around 180? Unintentionally ironic post is ironic.
Daddy's money doesn't "implicitly grant you respect", either. Wisdom gained through hard experience does, however.
I remember when I was 22. I was a know-it-all ass, too. I was also carrying an M16A2 in the service of my Country.
Try spending some time offline. Real people don't communicate with internet memes.

What I'd like to know is what happened to his "$14k blind offer" he claimed was on the table when he tried to peddle this car here the first time around? Now he's at $13k all of a sudden. I take the term "blind offer" as meaning sight-unseen, so why is it still for sale? Sounds like little Lord Fauntleroy slept through an ethics class or two.

"by immortal » Sep 24, 2015 12:50 PM --- i've had three separate emails of people looking to come see it. Thanks for your advice but the market isn't formed around what you think, it's formed around what people will pay and what they are looking for."
7 months ago, offer price was $16k, claimed "blind offer" in hand was $14k --->> TCD said: "by T_C_D » Sep 23, 2015 8:54 PM If you have a 14k offer, you should take it!" --->> no action taken by seller.
7 months later:
"by immortal » Jun 04, 2016 8:23 PM --- wkohler, cek and Kyle in NO. he pictures of the car speaks greater lengths than any of your words. I've had multiple people contact me with inquiries, which is what any serious buyer will be doing."
Current offer price, $13k. For those keeping score at home that's $1k lower than the "blind offer" in hand 7 months ago.
Coup de grace:
"by immortal » Jun 04, 2016 10:43 PM --- I've learned nothing today, I did 7 months ago though."
Apparently you didn't...if you had, you would have accepted the $14k "blind offer" and we would have never heard from you again.
"....I can tell there are not millennials here, nor will there be if you keep that up."
Who gives a sh*t. Levered to the gills, under-employed, and cash-strapped, aren't appealing characteristics anywhere...

This thread is awesome.
First, let me state, I don't own nor have ever owned an e28. I have driven an 83 528e 5mt with 343k on the clock and an immaculate interior, exterior and maintenance from Boston to Philly by myself. I won an f80 m3, an e61 535xit, and have owned an e39 m5, and now my wife is interested in evaluating various e28s.
This car would totally interest me and, thanks to this amazing forum and thread, I have no need to look any further or contact the seller to learn more. Deferred maintenance on an e28? Are you kidding me? It's one thing if the windshield wipers are worn out, another thing if some core fluids are of unknown provenance.
This car, priced appropriately with up to date maintenance and a clear description of pros and cons, should sell in a heart beat. The fact it hasn't sold says alot.

Welcome to Mye28.
You want an awesome thread, read
E21.
This thread pales.
Also, you WON an f80 m3? Or was that keyboard-dyslexia?

Thanks though as you can see I joined 9 years ago (criminy)
Keyboard dyslexia - I own/daily drive an f80 m3. 3,450 pounds stock with ~3 gallons of gas in it; proud of owning one of the lightest.
That e21 thread is awesome and I actually know CSBM5 from his e39 m5 forum history.
Going to present my wife with some options and going to slightly push forth the idea of an e28 m5 or e24 m6 (I think she'll like the color options of the m6 more).
