$9450!!!!
Seems like a reasonable price to me especially with the mileage and the color combo. Looks like a nice car though they should have cleaned it up under the hood and in the trunk. That interior looks super nice though! The only way you could get a lachssilber 535i in '87 and '88 was as a 535is.

Anyone know this car? I put in a bid, but I'm probably not willing to go as high as what this will fetch.

I was thinking the same. What's with the carpet piled up in the trunk?

Its gone. No crap. He/she's watching this thread. Now it really doesn't feel right.
Of course I'm the most detailed PITA when making car selections so I could be full of crap.

It is funny that the trunk picture is gone and they cleaned around the paint name sticker.
I feel a little creeped out.....

The trunk picture in question; its the trunk gasket seal to the left of the tray that caught my eye.

Yes, those were all the reasons I thought the price was way off. I would speculate the immense amount of house carpet is stored in the trunk to discourage inspection of the spare tire well. I looked at a car where someone had done something similar. As far as it being a true 'is', note the absence of a VIN in the add. This also prevents running carfax to see just when it hit 160k miles. Any car can be painted...(and if you're gonna ask that $, at least buy a damn dash cap!)

We're not the ones with a problem. You're clearly trying to misrepresent a car.
As a manager who makes hiring decisions this thread would immediately have me put your resume in the trash.

Obviously a little upset at being busted/called out.

No you didn't. You had that delete plate for sale on Craigslist for $100 a couple weeks after you said you sold it to your friend for $125.
Also I've been looking a lac "is" for awhile so naturally I got excited when I saw this one for sale. Then I realized who was selling it. I wouldn't buy anything from you. Maybe you can sell it to the same guy you supposedly sold the delete plate to, since he's the only one who will believe your bullshit.

Perhaps a typo- (one extra zero)?

That's almost what it cost when it was new. Of course, it didn't have 3 colors of paint and dubs back then so I almost get it.

I suspect an accidental additional zero.

How do you cut the carpet out to replace the fuel filter?
