So i thought i would update this thread with photos and provide you guys with an update..
As you all know I purchase this vehicle from oldskool.....he actually responded to my original post http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=142397 we actually connect via phone conversation and it was the same model & color i owned when I grew up in Italy ( I had a 1976 528 Acsot gray, with velour interior, 4 speed, with carburetor that ran on propane gas, what a blast that car was I drove it for 4 years and put 230,000 kms).
He told me that the car was running before he garaged it for 10 years..after a few phone call I decided to purchase the car sight unseen But he couldn't get it started due to the fact that STA-BIL gas gummed up everything ( fuel filter and injectors)
I was able to get it started after 15 mins, you should have seen the plume of smoke...

I have installed B & G lowered springs by 40 mm. and Bilstein shocks HD..not happy with the rear height, it sits higher than i would like it to be..
might look changing them after the restoration I have planned for it..

actually they we original boge shocks not KYB..lol

Awesome upgrades. Car looks great. Just curious...looks like a glass out repaint...why weren't the big side turn signals eliminated?

Actually, the only work done on the body was the Alpina spoiler, the rest of the car was thoroughly washed and buffed with Mequiar's Ultimate compound, the car still has the original paint..

I have found a body shop that will do restoration body work and will have the car repainted..new thread will posted soon..
