I think it would be generic. Compressor supposedly isn't for 134a, a new dryer, oil change, barrier hoses since the molecule size is smaller. Plus fittings even though commercial refrigeration does use the same fittings as 12. I'd say most conversions get a charge of oil and refrigerant, and maybe a new drier. Rarely new hoses. R134a can work well, but not as a simple drop in.

An e28 system is basically just like an e30 with all the same recommendations for O-rings and hose changes that apply to convert to 134a. They will or at least should also recommend a 134a compatible x-valve and receiver/drier. We all know a higher pressure pump and better condenser are also the BEST solution with 134a. Otherwise the only major difference in systems is the style of x-valve and how difficult it is to get at compared to an e30. An e30 is up under the glovebox and fair amount of twisting and bending but no dash removal. The e28 another story. But e30's use the H type and have no external control while the e28 can regulate based on the temperature control and is a different design and should work better and less prone to fail than the e30 type.
