Re: Parting 85 535 5 speed
I was reading all your posts to a friend of mine and he said "arguing with people like that is llike wrestling a pig. You both get dirty and the pig likes it." I thought that was funny.

Yet you can't resit having the last word, or having a shill do it for you. One of your 'investors' I suppose?
You make excuses for the condition of the car not being (in anything) like you claimed it was in your listing, and you think that somehow that makes it justifiable and legitimizes the gross discrepancies.
Like it was made a private sale. It was only the exaggerated and gross inaccuracies in the listing that led to that, and saved your ass from having to take the car back if it had continued on through the ebay sale. Some would say 'well played' on your part.
You were not there. Or that you live a state away. So? This somehow absolves you?
You never saw the car – but that didn't stop you from listing it like you knew it intimately. And although you go to great lengths now to defend your actions of the turd you sold by loudly excusing the immense deficiencies of your listing vs the actual turd itself by trying to justify it by saying you never saw the car, you oddly failed to mention that in your listing. If in your mind, this holds so much weight now in absolving you from all the factual inaccuracies (it doesn't), certainly it it deserved being mentioned in the ad. You mention you never saw the car like you think it makes you look innocent or without flaw. But in fact, it's the opposite. You (now) openly state you never saw that car, so how in the world could you make such a listing? You're a oxymoron.
Posting a list of things you and the buyer 'agree' about is meaningless and that you posted such a thing as a defense of the transaction only reinforces the buyer beware warnings about you. That you think the list is somehow a defense of your actions is laughable. And I don't need to ask a 'friend' about that.

Can I ask you the questions about the deal since you know more than I do about what happened?

I bought the car as a non runner for a local guy to get the diff. Have not even put a battery in it. I assume the obc works but when i get back home i can put some power on it and test it.
What do you think is fair on the shift knob?
