What work do you have left before Vintage 2013?

All this rain is dampening (ha) my plans to get shit done for Vintage.

Anyone else?

Indeed. I all can do it sit at work and order parts.

Going to be busy busy busy come this weekend.

I wish I could lend a hand, but we are equally busy here... between car work, Lindsey doing hair for friends, kids, etc it's a pain.

Troof. I really only get to work on it on weekends. Going to have to slam some old time late nights like I used to do. Working in the garage until midnight, clean up, sleep, go to work at 8, lol.

Also trying to wrangle all my parts in time to get them in, in a manner that is budget friendly, is getting more and more stressful, lol.

Tried redoing my sunroof seals sunday and cut the long piece too short.... I know, I know- But at least it's not raining up here yet! Have panel just set in car just in case...

No counter this year? Maybe better off- I have three days off until the drive down... might just be changing oil, brake flush ( maybe front brakes and rebalance tires) and a little cleanup

That's what I did before the drive down last year. Oil change, clean up and I removed the seats to get the carpet better with a shop vac.

I know my isn't perfect or concours quality but that's what I like about it. I can make it as good as I can without it being perfect and still be a very happy camper!

It runs! That means I even remembered which holes the reference sensors went into. I'm getting bad about labeling things these days. Having nearly everything off of the car, I'm pleased that it took two cranks of the key (probably for fuel) to light it off.

I'm down to body work and interior. Having to get my mower out of storage, cut my knee high grass and with Mother's Day, I didn't do anything on the car this weekend. Not good.

I really need another month. I wanted to do more to the body than I have time for and redye the interior. Oh well. That leaves something for next year.

To the car? Not much. Just need to fix a flat, install a trailer hitch, clean and polish, and maybe a couple of visual details to work out, but I'm not doing much of anything to it this year.

For the tent, I have roughly everything left to do.

VR1 oil change done last night, factory air filter, installed hella yellow star 55w fog light bulbs from rallylights.com. ( not that yellowy)
however found Sigla windshield cracked!, likely fix now after trip. ( this is MA inspection month for me to keep the 5 on the inspection sticker)
also way home from work yesterday tach and econometer dropped out again- only came on wacking the top of the dash pretty hard. Always something to do...

Still:
Find a cd player? ( alpine ca deck has tape stuck in)
Brake flush?
Rebalance tires?
hardwire V1?
Pull Cluster? ( likely need whole shebang bat, gears, sounds like solder)

Mtech flares installed
Front spoiler resprayed

Not done:
Full detail (this Saturday)
Rewire my V1 radar detector (hopefully done tonight)
Turn boost back up to 20psi

Going to do RSMs before we leave and see if that takes care of the creak/clunk in the rear.

Brakes Flushed ( surprised how dark fluid was after one year) Tires rebalanced ( also off after 10K)- down to crunch time.

Small stuff: to harwire V1 ( bought kit from them, still not sure where I should tap into...have 8ft cable- under dash?), Get traction material for bottom of plexi cupholders.. full cleanup

Not getting done: Drive flange ( abs light will be ON), pitman arm dogbones ( parts arriving day we are leaving) Better stereo head unit (Spyro Gyra Ca still stuck in original period alpine)

Last year we did it in about 14-15 hours- still figuring out best leaving time trying to avoid big shitty traffic
