Obviously, I wasn't in the caravan last year, but I believe it was Williams, CA, since it's north of the 505.

Just under the 2 month mark. It's coming fast, folks!!

Thunderhill is located in Willows.
Some of us from So. Cal. stay in hotels in Woodland.

I'm having a nice laid-back year, so sorry if this thread has been dead. I'm getting myself prepared for July and that means that my e24 project is hitting full steam. I hope to have it "road worthy" by then.

As some of you already know, we also have a 5erWest Facebook page... also pretty quiet lately. Check it out!

If you're coming what are your travel plans? What is your estimated one-way mileage?

Sorry to say that due to unavoidable knee replacement surgery (postponed for way too long now), I won't be able to attend this event for the first time since Jake started it all in 2010. Probably the best organized and delivered 5er show out there. It really is worth the drive from any place on the planet.

I posted the 5erDrive details. I had a blast last year and a few "fortunate" mistakes turned out to make a great route. We'll be doing it again.

I'm afraid I'm bowing out this year also.
Just too many other things going on with the house and work this summer. I'm with John, as well as many others, that this is one of the best organized, most fun 5er events on the roster for the year. I've only been twice now (missed the first year), but I feel this will always be my permanent replacement for 5erFest.

I'll be back next year with the M535 for sure.

I'm officially not coming this year, Jake. Sucks to go from being 20min away to over 13 hours away. I'll miss hanging out with some great friends at this event. See you all next year.

I too wish. I wish I had a car that could make it out of my driveway. Maybe someday I can pull off a swoop operation such as idsbeaker has. That would be awesome to drive across country in the e28. Someday....
