I live less than 2 miles from where my ancestors settled nearly 400 yrs ago. The house I grew up in is 5 miles away. .I lead a fairly insular life. You guys are a refreshing change from my daily circle of acquaintances.

Chris Kohler is a very honorable dude, and someone I would buy another car from. Man I love my 745i. Thanks again!

Ali, Rodney, Skip, da Pimp, Randy,Tim (the N. FL Tim), Sherman and Jackie are always the folks to party with at the Vintage!

Paul (Moosehead) has been beyond helpful with parts and advice.

I had the fortune to meet Corner Carver (another Greg) earlier this year helping him scout out a 524TD.

Met some great new friends at TexFest bringing the 745i back home from Phoenix.

Mike Holtmeier is an inspiration as always, as you are LJ for starting such a cool thread.

Hoping to see everyone again soon, and meet a few new folks as well!

Rattlesnake? I kill at least one or two infants a year. Every year or so I shovel a big 'un. I'm sure I could corral a baby 8-10 incher next spring and send it your way. Your family will be able to watch the first rattle grow! Beats a Chia pet any day!

skip535i for taking that cooler back from Vintage a couple years back. One day I'll actually retrieve it, too (unless you want to use it for your business, in which case I'll gladly swap it for food/beer.)

tsmall07 for grabbing a buttload of S38 parts in Long Island and delivering them, picking up wheels and delivering them, picking up anything else I forgot about and delivering it, and for the sausage/cheese dip recipe which I have subsequently lost.

cvillebimmer for the party where I got to meet a bunch of you for the first time.

wkohler for mountains of knowledge that exceed my own as well as his willingness to help just about anyone even though he's a fellow misanthrope.

Thanks for the kind words fellas. I do try to go out of my way to help others here.

As for the return side it's difficult to pick only a few. I'll refrain from listing those whom I consider to be friends because of the site, and there are now lots of you, but AT8M5 and igotbank were both very generous to me while building the M5 and deserve a public thanks. All the Beamters deserve a thank you as well.

I appreciate everyone's patience in answering my questions about these cars.

Specifically Moose and Kohler, but Greg Flint, the Saltsman Bro's, Wicker, and many more deserve recognition.

SD45t-2 is quite an individual as well

Matt C keeps my sticker habit fueled.
