There is no evidence it ever had a spoiler. I know that based on the VIN it had a model designation delete (possibly that would include the spoiler?). This is a very early M5 (WBA code, #7 produced), does anyone know when the IS spoiler was introduced? I have acquired an extra trunk lid and have a couple of IS spoilers and a NIB BBS spoiler that I am considering installing. Not big on the IS so much, but will probably try both. As mentioned previously, the springs are Dinan. The current ride is a nice compromise between handling and comfort. I have a dedicated Camaro for track events so I am resisting hacking the M5 (no GC set up or stance look). It is a great point and shoot car for our club's local driving trips (Whitbey Island, Whistler Sea to Sky or Duffy Lake runs). Future plans include installing an Alpina auxiliary fuel and swapping in a 3.25 posi instead of the 3.91 in an effort to get over 200 miles to a tank of 94 octane!

Euro M5s, just like all Euro E28s could be ordered a la carte, so many opted for the true sleeper look of no spoiler, badges, etc. A true Q ship. Is it a 518i? 520i? Who knows?

Thanks for the compliments. The fronts are 17" x 8.5", 13 mm offset, 245/40/17. The rears are 17" x 9" 26 mm offset 255/40/17.

That's a lot of rubber! I've been thinking of running 245/45/16 square this season, but thats only offered in the re-11 Wish i could get the new rivals in a wider 16.
