I think driving up through MN, around Superior and Huron in the Canadian Shield would be pretty fun.
Let's get to work on it then.
If you guys are seriously coming through Minnesota Brandon and I would love to run with you. Id be worried about Sherman keeping up but Ill promise to keep his age in mind

While he keeps that in mind, I'd try to cut down on the copious amount of dust he ate from my turbo. Win-Win right?

I'm going to take a shot at being there also. Not sure yet which car I'm taking but it will have a turbo. Also I'm trying to recruit a few locals to make this as well.

\waiting for Sherman to chime in on his route plans/itinerary

My route - http://mapq.st/yqvfXa

Stopping in Kalamazoo overnight after 10 hours on road. Gonna do the last six hours Friday morning. Plan to be @ Ted's by 1300.

My cruise speed will be 75-78 mph.

Blunt convinced me... I'll be there with an LS1 e28. Will book the hotel in the next couple days. I am only 5 hours away and only 2 hours from the border. I would be down for a caravan if we can work it out.

      That will make two of them. ;)

For all of those coming from the west. If you cross at Port Huron instead of Detroit you will cut off 1 hour of travelling time in Ontario. My house is 3 hours from Port Huron along 402,401,403,QEW and then on into my driveway. Make sure you pick up beer at the Duty free shop before crossing into Canada. ;) Cheers. Sort of planning on it. I need to fix my passenger side door so my lady friend doesn't go flying out.

Tricky getting into the duty free if you go the port Huron way. I wonder how many cases of beer I can fit in my boxes? Would it be cool if I just bungee'd them to the rear rack? What are the laws on visible beer containers on a motorcycle?

Visible boxes are asking for trouble, on the other hand, I don't think they can do anything if they're all sealed containers.

Just spoke to Jordan the hotel manager and added ten more rooms to the hold list for Tedfest. The Alpina list is growing also. Its looking like we will have the best showing of Americans for this years event.
