Hello All,
I must say it was a HOOT! Great folks and car's. Put faces to people - so cool....Darin's crib is the BEST! He is a wonderful host and very generous...I appreciate all his efforts....
I loved going Greek too. Great spread.
Drove several M5's Karl's was amazing - NEW car feel.
Logan's M5 was off the chain..he kept saying let it rev up to 7300rpm's. It pulled like a freight train....a real HOTROD!
I want the motor in my Euro 525i.
I be there (with a car) next year.....

Well, I made it home about 6:00pm tonight. What a weekend. Nothing short of epic, really.
Got to Chez Charles to help out however I could setting up; the scent of Crack Bacon already permeating the air. People filed in just around sunset and started things rolling.
Great to see Ivo (center) in person again; he even brought his eager Brother-In-Law (beer bottle and way to excited) this trip. It was good hanging out with him.
I made the mistake of putting the camera down somewhere and someone picked it up and starting incriminating all of us. (Note: These photos are a virtual goldmine; I've only scratched the surface with these). Evidently my own camera turned on me at one point:
As the night roared on, we all moved inside. Then things got, well, strange:
As the hazy Saturday morning sun rose, so did our intrepid partiers. Damned sight better weather than last years' Monsoon. We had a great turnout with many cars and people that lasted several hours down at the boat landing lot.
Even Griff made an appearance: seen here with his main squeeze Suzanne:
Eventually the party moved on to Darin's place for, well, more of the same:
We even had an new Farrah Mug recipient this year: Anthony:
What can I say but the most heat-felt thanks to Darin and Charles for agreeing once again (despite their better judgements for sure) to host this weekends' shindig. St.Paddy's is always the best way to start a car season. Thanks also to the many helpers they had and a big handshake to all the friends I got to re-acquaint with; looking forward to the rest of the year.

It was another great event this year and I hope those traveling far and near have made it home safely. It's amazing how some nice weather can make or break this event, I even got sunburn.

Also, thanks to ElGauppo for once again going right to work after pulling in the driveway. You can thank Jay for setting up and wiring the music and hanging most of the tiki decorations. Thanks to Ray in Phoenix without whom we wouldn't of had a BBQ. Suzanne, vinceg101 and everyone else who pitched in who I'm forgetting about.
See everyone in May for the Clean Car pre-party!

I see E23s get respect at THIS event... 
There were three this year and I had/have ownership in two of them (why does it always happen that way) 
. Jay 3s Euro is experiencing a revival and I think he's moving to the dark side!
It was fun as usual. I would expect no less (hint: the later you show up to the event the bigger the greeting you get from Darin!). I took my usual Saturday nap but this time on the futon instead of the sofa and Ray was power napping on the chaise. I'm glad Vince is using discretion in which pictures are going up on the board!
It was good to see old friends (especially Ricky and JBort who has been MIA for a bit) and meet new ones. It was interesting to see Ivo teach people Dutch words (cozy?). I missed my bowling league for this event so you know my priorities are correct!
Look forward to next year in ????????

Not really. Griff has a couple of real cute gf's. In fact, he used to get paid for his services. A real gigolo. The problem started when someone hacked into his account. He was pretty upset about it. Thanks to everyone for making this ‘last’ St. Paddy’s Day Gathering another fun event!
As in years past we squeaked by with no authoritative intervention but not for lack of trying. I think it must be a testament to the attendees.
Friday night at Charles’ house was quite fun and I am REALLY looking forward to the 2000+ pics that are on Vince’s camera. I think we could fund a good trip to Vegas with the blackmail money.
After a week of news worthy overnight and morning fog (Devinder almost missed my very red house at 11:00PM Thursday night) Saturday AM could only have been better if there were a beverage cart in the parking lot. While there wasn’t we didn’t suffer with the bloody Mary’s. They were convincing enough that Karl stayed with ‘em all day.
The gathering at my place went off without any issues that I heard of and from the reports everyone had a good time. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the ‘Save Darin’ box that was passed around. It is truly appreciated.
Also, some big THANKS are needed for a few stand-out items that I can recall.
Ray – always the man on the spot to lend a hand with whatever crappy task I can come up with and the requisite 20 breakfast Jacks
The Crew – we got the sun shade up but not without help…
Susan B. – we all appreciated that SOMEONE could read the directions on how to put up a sun shade
The Future Mrs. Grewal (Suzanne) – thanks for initiating the tidying of the joint after whatever happened Friday night (I am kinda glad I wasn’t there!)
Jay, Ivo, Garrit, Linus & Adam - for not doing too much damage Friday night that couldn’t be fixed
Linus – your chauffer service was not overlooked and quite stupendous; not a drop of vino was spilled
Karl – how did you know I needed artwork?
Once again, thanks to everyone for a great event and I look forward to it being in your town next year.
