I assumed most everyone would know who that "skinny blonde" is. Oh well, we know what happens when you, ummm, assume.

Yup, Maria Sharapova.

She stands at 6'2" barefoot, and she always wears the highest heels I have ever seen, and IMO always looks great in them.
She hooked up with Porsche in the Spring I think. There are a couple of videos around with her going for a test ride in one. She doesn't appear to really be a car type. Great hood ornament though. ;)

Looked somewhat familiar, as I watched the US Open for a few minutes. I can't stand her grunting with every shot, so had to change the channel - they should fine players for this. Caroline Wozniacki was cuter on the court.

Yea, the so called grunting can get a bit alloying. They talked about trying to put a stop to it for a while but the USTA just wouldn't take the final step.
Caroline looks good for the Open. Going to be difficult knocking down the ever so dainty Serena though.

Hmm, I must be nieve, don't know what 42 is.

My Tuesday morning wakeup of super loud thunder & lightning cracks, was a bummer. I heard one super loud lightning crack, almost rolled out of bed to see if something was on fire, but figured the rain was heavy enough it would put it out. Then I get up to find my ATT Uverse (DSL with a new name ? ) was not working. And the approximately 12 year old kitchen stove with digital touch panel was dead. That's all so far. All the computers survived.
I shouldn't complain, as I can fix the stove, even if it's the $ 250 control board. But now I gotta wait for the ATT guy from 8 to 12 tomorrow, Hope I roll out of bed before he gets there.

Oh, and after remembering a non lighting side marker light with a loose filament can bounce around & pull over 25 amps on fuse 5 & cause it to intermittantly blow everytime you hit a bump, I realized I didn't need the ETM. I didn't need to pull the 29 pin connector loose under the dash, even though the wire for fuse 5 had partly melted the connector around it. I didn't need to cut any wires going into the splice under the dash for the fuse 5 circuit to trace it to the back of the car, where I cut 1 more wire going to the right side marker light. I just needed to remember, I went through this same shit with the 528e 12 years ago, only because it doesn't really say "Side Marker Lights" on fuse 5 & what's the other fuse that "Side Marker Lights" are on ? Well that fuse doesn't say it either. I think it says " Emergency flasher". yea, thanks Hanz & Franz.

So I did the unthinkable, in tracing fuse 5 out to the trunk, I pulled the actuator for the trunk out, had unplugged the little box for brake lights before I found the drivers side rear marker light bulb was the whole problem. Then when I pulled the trunk actuator out, I managed to lock the trunk lock, oh, and to make it good, I had unwired my alarm/keyless entry, as I had it on fuse 5 in the trunk. Then I shut the trunk which I know i don't have a key for. Locked out again, but this time with no brake lights. So the E30 got a few days of use til I got time to get back to it.

All I needed to do was remember a repair from 12 years ago. All the "fuse 5" searches on here didn't clue me in. I gotta put a small label on the fuse box lid, for fuse 5 " Side marker lights". So I can forget this & not go through it again in 10 years.

The only good part of the car story, In less than 5 minutes with 1 drill bit & 1 piece of welding rod, I drilled out the trunk lock & got into the trunk. Nailed it. Was easy. Only bad, I have to replace the lock now, as I drilled at a different angle than before to make it quicker, went though 1/4 " or less of the trunk lock, vs 3/4". Went in about 20 degrees up. Managed to damage the bottom of the lock cylinder. But was way quicker to drill than the first time.

and my stove was just the breaker tripped. What luck. Found big foot long chunks of inch thick bark from my neighbors tree from the lightning strike when I walked out back with the ATT tech, it was yards away from his tree. You could see about 4 or 5 feet of stripped bark on part of the trees main trunk where the lightning hit, or at least removed bark about 30 feet up. My ATT DSL line feed goes right through his tree branches. The nice young ATT tech replaced my ground wire & strap. Asked him about relocating the line drop to an angle straight back to the line between the poles, to avoid my neighbors yard. He said yea, wait 30 days & call it in. That way he gets out of doing it. Not his exact words, but I'm OK with that. Just toasted the modem.
