Adrian pulled into The Bavarian Auto Group late today on his way home (I was stripping parts :bawl:) . He looked kinda fragged but was really happy. He said he had a blast. Glad to hear you guys had a great RTT

Sounds like I missed way too much fun.

Absolutely, and Randy, thanks for the update on the Big Guy's whereabouts.

Oh, and Adrian looked fragged because he did not have AC for the trip home. :bawl:

I was more frazzled than fragged. I think the lack of sleep over 7 days caught up with me. I had to try my first 5hour energy shot just to get home. Made it home around 5:30 yesterday and stayed on the couch for the evening.

Man what a great time and the hartge performed. A little more tuning and I will have 240 at the wheels. I got two calls from Paul Burke during rtt just checking on the car. Paul is a rare commodity these days. He stays with you up and till the end of the project. Also car went from 16 mpg to over 24mpg while adding significant torque and horsepower.
Next years rtt will be even better. We are gonna change things up a little.
I think the fact that this event resonates with so many people speaks to the fact that these cars are meant to be driven.
Fun times for sure !!!

Returned

Post by Dreadmill »

Hello, this is Chris (white e30 M3), we drove to a small town in Northern PA about 90 miles south of Buffalo on Wednesday. We returned Saturday night around 11:30.

The car decided to develop an intermittent problem of not starting when particularly inconvenient. So we had to go straight through without turning the car off. Stopped by an auto parts to have the battery checked - it was fine. The guys was nice enough to push start me, too.

This might be a sticky relay, because it seems to start when cold, however, this has not been confirmed. Because I worked with it yesterday and it seems to be completely healed, as it now starts warm.

Anyway, I obviously needed another project.

It was great seeing you guys again and I need to make a point of getting out of my cave to enjoy the world again. Because over the past year that was definitely the most fun I have had without breaking the law. Uh, well, that's the most fun that I've had. ;)

I'd like one of these and the original. Maybe have "Rolling the Twisties" on it with the date and owners of those cars, mocked up like the original.

After much needed rest and recovering from to much excitement of RTT trip, I finally got a chance to make a post.
First off, I am happy and glad to see everyone got home in good health and with out getting any thickets including myself. I really had a great time hanging out with all of you guys and it was a pleasure getting to know the new guys this year as well. I enjoyed myself so mush driving with my car in the group that I pinched myself few times to see if I am dreaming or this is real, however this year we had all the top guns and top roads with us and I truly enjoyed RTT13 experience. See you all next year!!!

I'll post here after I get time to work up the imagery correctly. I'm going to be buried for a bit though. Pete- if you want the image to workup I'd send it to you if time is of the essence.

I'm slowly getting through my shots. I'll probably have 10-15 or so by the time I'm done.

Here's one of Adrian and Sia:

Cool pic, I'm on the throttle look how low my rear end is sitting and sias car looks awesome with those 255 on the rear. This pic is a good representation of rtt... rolling quick and the following car at a safe distance

Pic solves my question as to what Sia drove. I have seen that combo blow by like I was standing still. a few times in the past. :D

Very sorry to have missed RTT this yr.:
