A pair in the past two days. The first was a gorgeous Jensen Healey. At least as nice as new, perhaps better although I've seen restorations of other cars that were nicer. But beautiful. At first glance I thought it was a Fiat 124 Sport. No, nothing as everyday as that. Went into the PO, mailed off parts, came out, hung around a couple taking a pic or two waiting for the owner to show but he never did. So I left.

Next was an absolute Frankencar. It would appear to have started life as a 57 or earlier Bug, but not much original left now. Not only couldn't I figure out what engine it had, outside of water cooled, I couldn't figure out where it was. Just not where it originally was. Not an off road machine with those tires, but still 2WD. Have no idea what that transaxle came out of, but it was much bigger than OE, aside from facing the wrong direction. Couldn't figure out what the appearing to be, parallel flow A/C condenser was for. Certainly not A/C, and it didn't look right for a turbo. Same as above, I waited a bit for the owner who never appeared. Still, interesting eye candy.

Spotted at the local grocery store. A gorgeous MB 280SE stacker. At an ultra close view it wasn't a $30K paint job, but from 5 feet it sure looked good. A work in progress I would guess, exterior looked great, interior, except for the seats looked very good. Seats needed work, but at least presentable.

Gotta be a car guy I guess, I saw several people walk by and nobody paid any attention, except myself who had to be careful not to drool on it. I feel I usually take good pics, my recent QX4 sale especially, but this one looked much better than the image.
