I’m still looking for a OEM type solution for the long term.. either with BT or I can add BT but not easily available in our area
The BMW CD-43 is more modern and very OEM. Im using the BlueMusic bluetooth adapter.

I installed the Cantaloupe radio bluetooth kit into my original CM5905 factory radio.

Sound quality is good, bluetooth connection for music and calls is a breeze. I love having the original radio in the car and using the various function buttons on the radio to operate it, it's as if it had bluetooth from the factory. Highly recommend!

There was also a Nakamichi back in the day that you might be able to find, but they are going for +$1000 the last time I looked.

**Update** Found a Nakamichi

I have a Nakamichi in my M635 that I'm going to replace.  I don't know how much it is worth, but I'd sell it for a lot less than $1000 if someone here wants it:

I have 2 Nakamichi CD500s that were in my BMW 2002.  I replaced it with the Blauplunkt Frankfurt reissue.  I’m debating putting a Nak in the 535is or going with a more modern unit.  I may be open to selling one or both of these Naks.
