St Paddy's annual meet is less than couple weeks away!
I know many who have attended, enjoyed the raffle in Darin's back yard.
It is always fun to watch Darin, pull numbers out of the plastic cup and try to correctly read them.
I will be bring several wonderful items for this part of the weekends festivities.
Your donation helps underwrite the countless coolers of cold beer, great food, and clean up, for Darin.
This is a great way to explain to your significant other why you are leaving for the weekend.
Just say that you are cleaning out some old stuff that is cluttering up the place.

Thanks in advance,
Ray in Phoenix

Ivo,
if those wheels are Racing Dynamics RGR 16x8, be extremely careful about the drivers side rear. I have a set, and the drivers rear cut itself to ribbons on a non lowered car, with 225/50 tires. The fenders must be rolled or cut

This will be it's first long drive since beginning the restoration. Finally got comprehensive insurance on it for an agreed amount from AAA so I won't be as scared to drive it. Even for a light restoration like what I did you forget sometimes it's a driving car and not something that just looks pretty to you that you keep throwing money at.

Funny thing is, first time I met Ivo he expected me to look like Uncle Phil in my avatar. Guess the Fresh Prince wasn't popular in the Netherlands

Once Ivo stances it and plastic dips the wheels will be sweet ride,

Thanks for the head up J, might be a problem with all our luggage, parts and hookers on the backseat!
Luckely our first stop is at Devinder's shop. He will probably have a solution to it!

Just remember, in the event you do try to sneak one through and get arrested, I don't know you!

Do people rebuild the pumps btw or is it better to track a used one down. They're a tad on the pricey side new, $550 from BMW.

We have been going this route a few years now, the traffic on the 405/5 south through LA/OC and into North SD County anytime on Friday or Saturday is insane.
The Inland Route, while not without its' dramas, is far superior for the first part of any given Friday. Also, The Hangar sits at the confluence of the 5 and 210 so it makes the most sense to switch routes and make it the meet-up point.
What time are you guys hitting road Friday? Would try to connect, but unsure if the late night wrenching will allow.

Any of you folks use MEX Rental Car Co in CA? I have a reservation total of $70 for the four days I'll be in SD. Seems to good to be real. Most other companies are in the $230-$300 range.

Has to be a catch somewhere. Reading thru their reservation docs, it mentions mandatory CDW and LDW in one section and implies it is not in another section. If mandatory, it will certainly raise the total rental rate. Had this happen once in Canada in 2008.

Any experience out there with Mex?

Called the location. Answered on the second ring. It is $70 for the entire period  No hidden fees. :)

Not London Eric, but Liverpool. An additional 225000 rupees showed up on my CC statement later that month. LOL

OK. As long as the facility where you pick up the car is not south of San Ysidro...
