For 2017 i prepared new aero-kit EBS

First of all we checket it on a car and only then prepared for painting







We found all new fixes, because old were too rusty







Front bumper was restored too - all rust deleted some chrome parts changed

Next step was Alpina steering wheel repair works and new leather.

This is the one I had - old, used, without any leather.



Here is the 2nd one I had with original leather.



I repaired 1st looking to 2nd to make it close to original one

I had a full EBS kit with trunk spoiler, but I did not like that trunk spoiler





Besides I always wanted to have some individual custom part looking very close to original, and I thought that trunk spoiler is one of that parts where I can make it

So I began looking for interesting ideas and found the one! M7-styled Motorsport trunk spoiler for BMW e23 based on some original BMW part!







And we started!
First of all I made one new copy of a part I made for sale before



I took a used e23 trunk from my shrot



Then made an insert from the middle part to install it in my spoiler to make it wider.

and found the wide that i needed

Next day there was a car festival I should take part in so it was a lot of things to do

I prepared my territory

We had a trip to Gagarin town, where Yuri Gagarin was bort.
The trip was dedicated to the Day of Cosmonautics.

Wow. Just wow. You've done a fantastic job with it, but I think I'm even more impressed with your passion for it and the work that must have gone into it than the car, even as good as it looks, which is very good. I know little of life in your country, but I suspect it would be even more difficult there than here to make such an impressive build. Regardless, it is gorgeous, my complements.

I've had lots of BMWs, including a pair of E23s, but while nice cars, they were nothing at all like yours. Nice work.

At the beginning of may I visited Retro-Minsk car festival in Minsk (capitol of Belarus). First time I visited it in 2016 and it was a perfect festival so I repeated in 2017!

On Friday nearly 10 in the morning I started.
The weather before was terrible and I seriously thought to change back my summer r16 Gotti to r14 winter wheels. But in the morning the weather was sunny and road was soft and clean.

First of all I bought full tank of benzin.



Started odometer to zero



And gone from Moscow

It was hard to make pictures while driving so there are not a lot of them.











The weather was fine. Sometime in Smolensk area was a little snowy for 5-10 minutes



Nearly 15 oclock I left Russian border and came to Belarus.



Nearly 19 I was in place of meeting for car festival.



I came for the second time so I knew that first of all I should take place in car wash because later it would take too much time, because a lot of cars was on the way to meeting place.



There were some cars before me so I had free time to check everything around me in Raubichi sport capm where we based.





After car wash I came to cottage where I stoped, parked my car among american cars ad went to meet my friends.









Next days - was a day of festival

Next day was a car festival.

There were more then 140 cars here only some of them.

The day after the parade and banquet in the morning, an excursion to the BelAZ plant was organized!




















This is an absolutely incredible place and, of course, every boy dreams of getting there, provided that he knows about such giant cars at all!

Among other things, a Guinness World Record-holder car, capable of taking on board 450 tons of breed, was shown, they took a tour of the plant's museum and even let them into the assembly shop! ))

















Well, I'll tell you about the return to Moscow and the way back in the next post.
