At first glance, it looks a little optimistic for an E12 (that isn't an M535i) with six digits on the odometer and extended protrusions coming out of the car fore and aft. Then again, a truly good example needing little could be worth every penny, and then some.

The description states that it needs registration. That could be a minor detail or a deal breaker. Clarify that one first.

I spoke with the owner who sounded very enthusiastic to sell. Registration is somewhat sorted I'm just waiting for him to send me Vin so that I can look it up for myself. I really need somebody to look at this car asap.

Appears very clean; one owner is cool. I agree a bit pricey though. Watch out for the cracked head/head gasket issues these earlier ones are known for.

That white M635 pushes all the right buttons for me. Although like any Euro-market car that actually spent part of its life in Europe, I'd want to take a good look underneath to look for rust. Well, for that matter that's true of ANY used car .

At first glance the Bavaria seemed overpriced and then I saw its condition and the fact that it has a rebuilt engine. Looks like a nice example.

I am regretfully posting my E28 for sale. It is a clean title 1984 BMW 528e. Black Schwarz color, 5 speed manual, about 190,000 miles. As far as I know I'm the second owner. It was previously garaged and has very little rust spots that are not even visible unless closely inspected. It has its little flaws but overall is very solid.

I replaced the huge US bumpers with sleek European bumpers all around. European headlights and Euro mirrors and grill from an E12. Looks different than almost any other e28 you'll see. These parts alone are worth over $1,000. I cut the springs to lower it and put a guard over the oil pan so as not to smash it. The ride is still very nice. Not bouncy and not rough.

Old cloth seats were replaced with new leather seats from an e28 and an e36. And i replaced the old grey door cards with new brown ones and tweed inserts.
I also bought BBS RS211 wheels for the car and brand new tires with less than 1,000 miles on them.

I've had this car for about two years now and loved every minute of it. It gets lots of looks and thumbs up and even had people leave me their business cards telling me how much they love it.
It always ran perfectly up until now. It starts right up but idles funny and smokes from the exhaust and occasionally stalls. I had a mechanic take a look at it and he said it seems to be a problem with a sensor not anything mechanical. I replaced the Air Flow Meter as he suggested but the problem still exists.

I love this car and never thought I would sell it but I want to move on to something new and this seems like a good time to sell it.
I'm looking to sell for $6,500 obo with the wheels or $5,000 on stock bottlecap wheels.

Open to trades as well.

Short throw shifter from a z4
Interior is in great shape except for the dash and everything works on the car
Paint looks good but the left front fender and driver door have dents, I bought it that way. Car still looks impressive when cleaned up.
HID headlights
Left fog is out
Has an amp and sub with a bass knob
Period correct 16" RIKEN wheels. I usually polish up the lips about this time each year but I haven't yet. 20 minutes per wheel with a buffer and they look like chrome.
This has been my daily driver and I don't hesitate to drive it anywhere. The last long trip was about a month ago to eastern Washington, cruise control at 75mph and roll.

This is the most 'shark-like', er, shark I think I can recall seeing in recent memory. The lowered ride height, Euro bumpers, and upsized AC Schnitzers give it such a long, mean look. It looks like the consummate grand touring BMW.

I noticed that as well. I'd tentatively arranged to view it this Saturday so I've emailed the seller to see if he's sold it. It's also possible he decided it was undervalued.

That 535i in Kirkland would have been perfect for me...if it wasn't an automatic. I spoke with the seller before I realized it wasn't a 5-spd and posted some words from him above.

Let me know if you ever need a car-viewing buddy. I'm still fairly new to BMWs and might not be able to contribute too much, but I make an excellent sounding board and second pair of hands.
