How about a Morris Minor Pickup. It was in the Culver's parking lot while a friend and I had lunch. It was a rolling restoration project with some panels in primer and no bed floor at all. Sorta cute but I would never fit in it.

Minnesota? Cool! He's a long way from home; did he look lost?

(btw, don't you know the phone is supposed to be turned to get landscape photos? Unless of course you're snapping a photo of a tree, a tall building, or a long-legged lovely. ;) )

I saw and chased down a guy, 1940 Ford 2 door business coupe, Art Morrison chassis, Keith Black Hemi, 8-71 Blower, 4.88 gears with rear tires 30 inches wide.

Beautiful car, air conditioned, power recaros and an outrageous blower whine. Said he did the Power Tour a few years ago with 2.73 gears with no problem and plenty of leg for the fuel carried. Too Sweet!

I saw this downtown on Friday night. I've only seen a handful of 2CVs, and none of them new, but I'm sure this one looked better than any of them did when they rolled out of the factory.

Image

I didn't actually see this thing in person, but I think just the photo of it still qualifies it as "out of the ordinary".
Probably as "weirdest thing I've seen all day" as well.

I think this thread needs rules. For example, no car show pics. Of course there will be out of the ordinary cars at a car show, it should be cars you see just driving around. Also, if you weren't able to get a pic, fuck it, who cares? :)
I have a Kia parked in my driveway right now which I think everyone will agree, gives me the right to make rules.

Today at the terrorist market down the street.

Wasn't today, but I went down to Coalinga for an Airstrip Attack event, half mile drag. Record for the day was 224... 0.0 done by the green lambo. Standing start mind you.

THAT NEON!!! It did ~170 in the half mile, was front wheel drive, and was the most unassuming car there. I was just completely astounded by that car.

That model Mercedes has always looked right to my eye and I'd like to tour the California coast in one.

I saw three Honda Ridgelines from three different states within 1/2 mile of each other. It's weird since I was noticing the other day that I never see them anymore.
