Yep.
Being a Canadian I dont really give a shit about Newt whats his face and that other guy. They get way too much airtime in Canada already.
I wonder what the population distribution by country is on this board. I would guess 80% US based and 20% rest of the world.
Maybe we should make a poll.

Pete, now you are way off base.
Newt has a plan to put tax dollars to work. He has pledged to build a moon base by the year 2020 if elected president. And that's not the end of it, he was so bold as to say if 13,000 Americans inhabit the base at some point they can apply for statehood.
Who knows, maybe in the not too distant future there will be a market for moon rocks.

It takes a REAL politician to admit the moon base project is behind schedule.

This is going to be wicked! I want my moon base.
They should elect the guy and hold him to that promise.
Build a moon base then occupy it (like on wall street).
MFW!

Did he also mention that NASA will be selling cookies door to door to pay for the Moon base project? After all, as we certainly can't afford health care, we surely can't afford a Moon base with the US budget.
Oh wait! I guess since Halliburton is experienced in these things they will just get a trillion US dollars to get things rolling.

And Newt has publicly stated that his running mate will be Martin Landau. Now that would be wicked.

Too late, I already own the rights. Currently in negotiations with a Chinese company.
The moon is soooo '60s. I say we put a base on Monistat 7.

Goodbye? I dont think so.
You could "money shot" somebody like 30 ft away.
But since the moon has something like 1/6th the gravity of the earth, it would probably just land like 10 ft away and not 4.
I say we send a research party!
MOONBASE!!!

Randy, that's a great idea. But instead of NASA selling the cookies, why not tap into the vast Girl Scout network.
They know how to sell cookies.
