Well it's true, kinda like "Indian Summer" should be "European Summer." Wellll.....
For those who made it through, some scraps from the table, some stale bread and rotted meat. And now they're trying to tax away the tax free status too.Kyle in NO wrote:Well, they did get tax-free casinos, didn't they?wkohler wrote:Well, if you want to be historically accurate, shouldn't that be the other way around?

You know, quoting me out of context doesn't prove any points.

First of all Twin55, how the hell do you come up with such certainties on your own? Obviously not from any real facts...
How do you know wkohler's ancestors were Pilgrims? Mine sure as hell weren't, nor were most of today's white Americans. My ancestors originated in France and immigrated to the US. Check your facts before spouting off.
Next, how the hell does a person's single (or several) posts taken out of context prove or deny his or her thinking the same way as a member of the Ku Klux Klan? That is utter bullshit.
Last, how the fuck does saying that you are sorry that people were sold into slavery make you a racist? 100% fabricated bullshit on your part.
Why don't you pull your head out of your hypocritical ass and stop making baseless accusations? Next you'll probably be calling me a racist for sticking up for wkohler.

Why should I do that... are you afraid that you might loss the crown? Hey, my brother, if by chance that others will crown me as the asshole of all assholes. Consider yourself being free from that title, however, I be glad to let you wear the crown sometimes if you are nice to me.Kyle in NO wrote:First of all Twin55, how the hell do you come up with such certainties on your own? My $.02
Whether intended as a joke or not, it was clearly an insensitive comment (especially given the way that "Thanksgiving" really started) and I hope he can understand why. I started another post on it but removed it. That having been said, would I have a beer with him and talk about that and many other things vehicular and political?Slaytanic_Wehrmacht wrote:It's a conspiracy!JoshInAtlanta wrote:HA! Of course.
BTW I am also thankful that I can live and work in Atlanta GA -- where black folks were lynched in my lifetime -- with +90% whites (there are 3 blacks in my company at our site out of 40 employees) and have a great time. Thankful that one of my co-workers had me sleep over his house at Thanksgiving with his beautiful family in Villa Rica, now that is social progress and something for which to be thankful in terms of compassion, understanding and love
