Gotta love the supra stock engine for the ultimate sleeper lexus. My friend had one of those with a single turbo 2j (supra eninge) that was very exciting to drive in. Not a big fan of the look though.

Why didn't the guys with the lexus just go to the drag strip? :dunno:

Looks like an amazing setup. Not the best environment for testing but....I have been guilty of doing crap like that too.

Some Lexus builders do take it to the track. There is a local private guy who builds interesting cars for customers worldwide. He is mostly known for his Supras although he does a lot of tuning for the local BMW crowd.

The pics in the first link are of his 2003 Lap of America IS300 twin turbo (450hp and 28 MPG at highway speeds). The track is his testbed for the R&D his firm does.

If you look through his site there is minor BMW content, he had a supercharged M Roadster in the 2001 Lap. That is the second link.
