As it appeared when we took possesion.
Today it looked like this:
We updated the wheels, seats and added a 3.91LSD. It's stock boost for the moment.
It still needs euro lights and a front spoiler as well as some hardware bits. It's a great car. The most solid 20 year old BMW I have ever driven.
Thanks to Derek, Beau and Darin. They did most of the work. It's great having a superb crew!

That car is absolutely stunning.
Can you reveal your goals for the car? I'm interested if you're going to beef up what's already there, or go with a more standard TCD offering.
Those cars have a stock 4HP22 right? What sort of power will that tranny hold?
Thanks, and good luck.

Nice work Todd. Be very careful, you will soon have people coming to you for restoration work. Now talk about a nightmare.

Thanks. In the short term we will be working on some TCD upgrades for the stock system. I would like to see the car go high 13s with the stock turbo.
In the long term it'll probably get our system.

It's the same strange white substance that powers the Sandy Eggo economy. And the Colombian economy. And the Miami economy . . .

Never been a big fan of the E23 but I must say that looks very nice indeed.
Way more cool than my E32.

Todd those seats look great in the car.
Way better than a minivan.

Those wheels make that car one sexy beast. I LOVE Arctic Blue, too. . . even though Duke's car is painted the same color.

Needs a 5spd. Those auto slush boxes are JUNK. Went thru 2 on my 735i.

How big can you go on the rear tires? Curious if it'll hold some real rubber.

That car has a lot of potential & it's shining through already. As for the slushbox, well after seeing what you guys did with the Euro E28, I'm thinking about putting off my manual conversion!

Any chance of her going for sale sometime?
For some reason, this car has made me grow an interesting in considering possibly owning an E23 instead of an E28 for a while... They are such beautiful cars, and the larger size would suit me better...
I just need to find me an E23 with a 5 speed and working A/C that is in good reliable condition and no rust.... I most likely will be owning my E28 for a very long time!

What do you mean "059 test conversion"?
