P.S. Just on a side note, I saw you already had a SI shift light for E30. Wonder if you could come up with an E28 one. I already had E28goodie one but I don't think it worked very well (I think it work better on early model tach but I had a later model).

Thanks.  I'll try to do better with timing of the notifications next time - that was partly my fault.

Yes, I already prototyped one years ago.  I may resurrect that project. I'll need a spare cluster. I'll keep my eye out for a non-working unit for cheap.

Installed mine last night, was super straight forward 
Just out of curiosity, is there some specific location that these were meant to be bolted to around the relay area? I didn't see anything obvious so I just let mine rest back there on top of the sea of wiring.

Yes, the case has the provision for it to be zip-tied down if you would prefer.  I don't have an e28 with pictures of that, sorry.

Hey George,

I have finally just get around installing mine today. Worked as intended and I have finally got my interior light back. Very happy. Just wish to check that you mentioned in the demo video that the dimming time could be adjusted but I couldn't find it on the website and instruction came with the unit. Would you please share it as the default dimming time is a bit too fast for my liking. Thanks again for the great product.

That video is from 2007.  I've recently re-shot that video.  Long story, but I removed the adjustable time feature.  It was causing issues that is a bit too long-winded to get into here - so I set it to a reasonable amount of time.  Keep in mind this unit has the second feature that it dims out quicker when you turn the key - that makes it work in just about all conditions.  Plus you still have the option of turning on/off the light manually.
