Looking to get a new carpet for an e28 with the blue interior. There are two blue options and I wanted to see if anyone has done this yet and how well/which color matches the original best.
thanks!

Their website shows their carpet comes from ACC (Auto Custom Carpets). They are a big supplier of aftermarket carpeting in the US for all different makes, I suspect most places source their carpeting from them.
I have no experience with their carpets for BMWs but have used ACC several times for vintage Pontiacs; in those cases the color was spot on and they fit pretty well - I had to do some tugging and pulling and stretching to get rid of wrinkles but in the end they came out well. This is a pic of the carpet in my '61 Bonneville before I put the seats back in. In fact, they used my original carpeting to make the patterns for this particular application.

I got ACC carpet for my 79 Rx-7 years ago. Did not come with the critical vertical piece that hangs down from the rear window opening. This piece gets sun beat and should be part of the carpet kit. Makes me curious if the vertical chunk for the rear seat bottom frame would be included.

I recently mentioned this website in another thread: Stock Interiors
Many options, they will sell you an extra yard of carpet if desired, plus you can order samples.
I haven't purchased from them though.

Only ACC experience I can offer is that I bought a set of floor mats for my Continental. They fit fine but are wearing poorly. They have about 25k miles of good-weather driving on them and the driver's mat is balding more rapidly than I am. These were the better / plusher carpet and I have to admit I'm disappointed. The OE mats in my other car that has some 240k miles on it is in better condition.
I did buy them through Rockauto

I cant speak for color match, since I bought the ACC carpet for a non-OE color. The fit is fine except that it is based off an e12. That means you won't have a footrest and the accelerator pedal will cut in at the molded foot pad. Both of those issues don't bother me anymore. The heel pad thing is covered with a floor mat. It is nice carpet though. Get the heavy pile and jute backing.

As an aside, your seats & door cards look amazing, M. Holtmeier.
