Starting Community Warnings about Ebay vendors: List

Post by matreyia »

I would like to start a list of corrupt vendors on Ebay and other places for the community to avoid. I will contribute the first vendor name.

1. Ebay: User ID - larsonmotors.
Will attempt to delay responses to go beyond returnable date for items (in my case, a mirror). Then will totally ignore your emails. If you need to return an item, do not depend on vendor contact, even if Ebay suggests this first. Just process the return via Ebay to avoid scammers like this one.
Also, this vendor sent a door that was not packaged properly that led to a giant dent in the door, which I refused acceptance at the FEDEX station. He then pretended to tell me that the refund would go through AFTER he finalized the insurance with FEDEX...which obviously is not how things work on Ebay DOA items.

I'm going to move this to the For Sale / Wanted - Parts subforum and sticky it.

Yes, that's where it should be and it will be helpful with it on top.

Confirming Larsonmotors sucks. They asked me to pay more shipping after already accepting a sale. They refunded but still a scummy thing to do.

I don't know his name but he texted me from 971 225 0766 in regard to a WTB. he showed me a picture of the item, that was easy to spot on Ebay during my searchI I asked how got my phone number he said from BimmerForums. A bunch of crap!! After I asked him he stopped texting me. Beware if you see that phone number!!

Don't buy the stainless steel long tube M30 headers from eBay sellers Team2Fastgmbh.... the fitment sucks ass and they take some finagling to get them to work, the only good thing is I emailed them and complained and they gave me $200 back...

Those aren't even close to long tube headers. Glad you were able to get a little relief.

I’ve been looking for 4 calipers for a couple of weeks now, and I’ve had 3 scammers come out of the woodwork in regards to them. Heads up if you’re contacted by Edwardhernand, as he’s a shady little bastard. Also not a scam, but the user punnzells said he had 4 calipers he would sell me and possibly rotors. Ended up going off the board and I had to contact his friend who refused to take the wheels off to send pics…

I then texted punnzells about this and he said he was selling them as cores, and could I really trust a 40 year old brake. So then, by offer to sell them to me in the first place. 😡😡😡
