FS: Early Coarse Spline BMW M-Tech 1 Steering Wheel

Post by andym3 »

For Sale: A rare coarse spline BMW M-Tech 1 Steering Wheel.
Suitable for BMW E28 or E24 built before Sep-85.
Diameter 385mm.
This was refurbished to go on my 1985 E28 but I sold the car for a later 1987 model before I got around to fitting it.
It has the original leather (not recovered) and has a brand new M-Tech badge and horn contact ring fitted.

$450 plus shipping from the UK

Despite being a member for 3 years, my lack of posting history means I am unable to reply to personal messages at this time.
For those who have been asking about shipping costs to the US, it would be $50.
Thanks

Then post more!!!

Saw the title and thought this isn't going to be cheap. I was right. What I wasn't expecting is it to look as good as it does in the pics. That is a nice looking wheel. GLWS.

Thanks. The mye28 site suddenly disappeared a while back (or at least I was unable to get access) so I thought it was no more, hence the lack of posts. It was only when I saw a link to it from a poster on an E28 Facebook group a couple of weeks ago that I realised it was up and running again, which was good news as I previously relied on this site a lot to get good info for troubleshooting my E28.
