I'll be joining in on the Yard Sale! Selling a set of staggered Alpinas as well.

See you all Saturday.

Many thanks to Darin, Vince, Gary, Chris and anyone else who did the work to put this thing together, I had a great time.

Drove home yesterday, 609 miles in 9 hours. Average of 68MPH, I wasn't wasting time, but no tickets and I never stood out. The run up from SD to LA was a little slower than I've seen before, only 80-85 and the last couple of times I've been thru there the faster traffic was pushing 100. Oh well, helped me average 29MPG, not bad out of the 3500 pound dry E39 moving at a rapid clip.

Pictures to follow soon.

Darin nice to meet you!  Thanks for your generous hospitality opening up your home to us.  Big thanks to everyone that made the event happen and to everyone who made the long distance trek.  I had a great time and it was nice to connect with a bunch of you.

OK, lets see if I can get pics up without breaking the interwebs.

A few with mine behind a drop dead gorgeous Black E23

That E23 again. I know, I know, this is Mye28 and 5er oriented, but if we voted my vote would have been best in show for this one. Needed a bit of paintwork on the drivers door, but it was all I could do to keep my drool off it. Pictures don't do it justice.

Mr Burger's (OC something handle) Bavaria/E3. Another pictures don't do it justice, paint is flawed, early metallic, but it's a stunning time warp car.

Just a couple of everyday pictures of the streets of Sandy Eggo. In front of Darins house. On the St Paddy's day get together.

Darin, our kind host and co organizer.

Chris K with his back to us, Georgio with red sleeves and a remarkably well composed young woman IIRC named Audrey, who was a captive audience of her folks. I've been bored as **** if I'd been in her place, falling asleep and she did well. She was with the Black E23 I've gushed about.

^^^That was Steve Caceras' (TurboE28) family and his black E23 you gushed about.  We affectionately refer to them as Mr. & Mrs. TurboE28 and hold them in the highest regard within our small, weird community.
