Working on an E34 big brake kit upgrade. While looking at the e34 master cylinder, I see a small thin "washer" that came out. Anybody know what it is or where it goes ? Is there supposed to be two ?

Working on an E34 big brake kit upgrade. While looking at the e34 master cylinder, I see a small thin "washer" that came out. Anybody know what it is or where it goes ? Is there supposed to be two ?

I took apart my stock MC and found the same thin little washer, so I guess it belongs in there. I cant image what it does.
