M30B34 alternator adjustment bar

Post by jimoreno »

For those of you still wondering what to do with the part being NLA, I just installed the M30B35 part on my car. I did had to modify the alternator housing by cutting the two spacers that are built into the case with my portable band saw but it works perfectly. You'll also need a shorter belt, 13x1030 to make it work. I'm attaching pictures of the installed part and the required belt (and the cut off spacers).

Thank you Jim,
Someday I'll do the swap and this already is very much appreciated.

That's nice.

I'm considering making a couple of new ones from stainless, since my -naturally- also broken.
