Tig, as long as you're doing all this work, and thank you for it, I might as well throw out a request. It used to do it this way, but it's been a while. When clicking on a link in a thread somewhere, especially out of Mye28, it would be very nice if it opened in a new tab, instead of just going to the link directly and leaving Mye28. Yeah, I can right click, open in a new tab, but in a perfect world it would just do it automatically.
Now, I also wish I'd been born rich and good looking, but I'm over it and I'm not losing sleep over it, nor will I over open in a new tab. But in a perfect world...

I could use a new personal tab too.

Hold CTRL down when clicking on a link.

Thanks for the reply. I'll still right click, open in a new... Easier for me. Didn't know that shortcut though.

Command-click on my Mac. I'm just used to it. Thanks

FWIW, I hate too many tabs and prefer it the way it is. There’s no easy way I could find to make it a per user setting.

Ha, and I hate going back, I open a ton of stuff in a new tab and often will have many, many tabs open. Oh well, thanks for checking.tig wrote: Jan 31, 2025 11:39 AMMike W." wrote: Jan 31, 2025 2:26 AM

Yeah, I get that. Opening links in a new tab is standard on most sites these days. Makes it way easier to keep track of where you are. It's a small thing, but a nice-to-have for sure.
Re: A request, links open in a new tab?
I've enabled a phpBB extension that makes all external (to .mye28.com) links look like this:
Those links open in a new tab by default.
Cool thing is it can be enabled/disabled per user. See your UCP:
