2025 Drive4Corners Event - Durango, CO

Post by tig »

Tim Shultz is organizing this year's D2C event and, since I live in Durango, am helping out. This is the official MyE28 thread for the event.

Details are still being sorted but mark your calendars for the first weekend of August 2025. If the event goes similarly to last year's the agenda will be something like this:
  • Friday, August 1 2025 - Folks arrive in town. Evening meet & greet at Gruntled HQ (my garage in Durango, next door to the Durango Brewery) with food, bevs, cargo pants, and car-related discussions.
  • Saturday, August 2, 2025 - Meet early in the AM at Durango Cars & Coffee for show & shine and then drive. Last year there were several drives people could choose from.
  • Saturday evening, August 2, 2025 - Dinner somewhere.
  • Sunday, August 3, 2025 - Optional morning drive ; Optional dinner.
Here's the site (not yet updated for the 2025) event: Drive 4 Corners – Desire to Be Driven

Cool, Tom's a good guy. Love to go just to check out your shop, but alas at 1150 miles away it's not likely.

I am now convinced that someone can see my calendar and always schedules this when I can not make it.  sigh

I will be there and ready to assist in setup.  Will work for beer, or course!  And with diminishing returns, of course!

I would like to attend.  About a 3 hour drive for me, that's not bad.

I will pencil it in.

I haven't been super involved in years due to family commitments and young children. Tim has coordinated things the past few years. I need to identify if it is feasible or not. Would be cool to be able to finally meet Charlie and Dan as well.

I think we are going to try to bring a caravan from North Texas this year. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

With some luck,  there will be a variety of turbo cars making the trip. 😎

It's pinned now.  It's official.

I'm looking forward to it.  I just need to figure out how much boost I want to be running for a 500 mile road trip. Especially in consideration of the kind of shenanigans that are likely to occur along the way,

Easy answer, not as much as you'd like to. Driving home is cool, towing home sucks.
