MGs were cool, but E types were just so gorgeous in their day. On the highway they look really old now, wheels too far inset, vertical windshield, but still a head turner. Crazy high top speed from a 6 cylinder engine just didn't compute at the time.russellrh72 wrote:
Saw these today at a vineyard where my restaurant was doing an oyster roast. Just a beautiful day and a beautiful contrast between the XKE and the MG. Made me wish I was in the e28, but I was working in the Toyota Sequoia.

Weird, or DUMB??stuartinmn wrote:On the way home from work today there was a late model M6 in the next lane. We exchanged the usual waves and went our separate ways. His car was a dark metallic grey, very close to the diamondschwarz of my my car, I thought it was a pretty handsome car. It is kind of weird to see an M6 with four doors, though.
Confusing, since BMW has tried to convince us odd numbers = sedans & even numbers = coupes.Fedaykin528e wrote:Weird, or DUMB??stuartinmn wrote:It is kind of weird to see an M6 with four doors, though.
