Interesting. I thought there was just a trail of rusted out e28s running along the northeast

Just picked up this VINTAGE Craftsman toolbox to hold the 323pc Craftsman Mechanic tool set that my Dad got me for Christmas. Have to say that I am liking it a lot. Much better construction than anything you can find now a days.. and Rally flags!

I think all Ill do to this is clean it up and keep my tools in it, until I get a rolling box to stack it on..

I just stay away from The Tailpipe usually, but I'm considering just checking out oldskool's posts. I'm worried I missing out.

Every time we talk about the car Vlad I think of Horton Hears a Who...

Morton: Word is, she's gone to Vlad!
Horton: Vlad? Vlad? I know two Vlads. Is it the bad Vlad — or the bunny Vlad that makes the cookies?
Morton: (sarcastic) Yeah, Horton. She's sending you a bunny with cookies. I think we can assume it's the bad Vlad!

No, you're not missing anything.

So my M-Tech socks came on Tuesday but I'm rethinking my plan to wear them with my M-Tech Vans. I never thought it could be possible, but it might be a little too much M. :?

Unbelievably boring in there lately. Last posted comment was December 27. That used to be such a fun happenin' place.

My 5 pairs came in on Tuesday as well.
Wore the black on Wednesday and grey on Thursday.
2 sets go in my drawer, 1 in my wife's, and
the other 2 will end up as 4 gifts.

Exactly. Did you have to hold someone up on the streets of California and steal their socks? Or are you the one that bought up all of the available stock...

Snow sux if you're not a kid or sitting cozily in a mountainside lodge. We're bracing for 20-30" in the mid-Atlantic area - blizzard, whiteout, thundersnow, 40-50 mph winds. Let's hope the power stays on!

Because I'm a nice guy,
maybe I can be convinced to rethink
the "gift" idea, and even my second set (no need to hoard).

I've thought:
///M socks available from The Bimmer Garten.
Complete S3X, S5X will get you 1 sock (your choice, left/right)
Complete EXX ///M5 will get you 1 pair (your color choice)
5 pairs available, as one gifting has already been completed.
P.S.
Really nice 533, 535 will be considered
in lieu of engine offering.

I'm sorry- I'm confused. Am I missing something? Do you use the pedals differently on that side of the globe?

Why is it that when I hire help for a small shoot I wind up just wishing I'd have done it solo when the 2nd camera doesn't come out as well as me working alone?

Thanks for sharing naked men riding the edge of a pool. Because that's what I wanted to see today.

At least it wasn't a couple of girls and a cup.

So I get a call from a guy I worked with 14 years ago. We’ve stayed in touch, as in getting together for lunch once a year or so.
He called me today and said, “Hey, are you still into BMWs?. So I hesitatingly said, “yeees, I guess so”. I was wary because I thought he might want me to do a PPI for him or something.
Well it turns out he’s closing escrow on an investment/rental house and there’s “a bunch of BMW stuff” in the garage. I don’t know if it was a foreclosure or what, but he said he’s stuck with dealing with whatever is left in the house.

I asked him “like what?” and per Russell:

Some different sized boxes with BMW on ‘em
Some molding looking things in plastic with BMW on ‘em
Some boxes that say “may-lay” (Meyle? Mahle?)
Some boxes that say “man”
Some boxes that say Bosch
A steering wheel that looks brand new with some weird purple and red stitching but it’s missing ‘all the middle part’.

I asked what he wanted for the lot and he said, “When escrow closes, come down to PB and take it all away and then you can buy me lunch”. I said, “you drive a hard bargain, but okay”. :)
