I'll likely participate in washing cars in the afternoon. I'll skip the ralleye so I can start lubricating and I always love getting out to dinner with a group of Mye28 guys. Here are some photos of my car and me.

EDIT: I broke my own rules, so here's a few photos of the wheels I'm refinishing for my murdered-out E34!

These will be getting painted gloss black. They're 18x9 et20 and they'll get 15mm spacers and 225/40/18 tires all around.

BUMP!

I'm making steady progress!! Blacked out the headliner and rear shelf....







Then started working on the lights up front....smoked smiley crosshairs and turn signals. I have a plate delete for the front, too.









Then, I put on a replacement trunk (OEM from a same model schwartz car) and a smoked rear filler plate....

Bye-bye shitty old trunk!



And hello, new trunk!






I purchased a genuine Euro plate from Germany that I'll put on this and put my VA plates over it.

Finally, I got rid of the horrible looking US bumper trim with cutouts for parking lights in favor of some freshly repainted euro side-marker trim

Still have lots more to do and many more pictures of progress to come. I'll keep bumping this with all my updates!

I made some progress this weekend thanks to Patrick McHugh at Bimmer Rescue in Richmond, VA. We gave the E34 a full ignition tune-up (which fixed my cruise control!), mounted '95 side skirts, and installed E30 sport seats. I also bought a fairing for my roof rack....
