24psi yesterday but it doesn't feel like it's faster, I think the engine can't take anymore air in.Jeremy wrote:20 psi on the first time out?? You're a brave man!
I never updated the cage install, but it's all done now.
Dual 044's in there new home.

Fuel cell and battery disconnect switch.

Switch through the tail light, thanks Boris..!

Both seats with 5 point harness.

SFI roll bar padding NHRA rated.

Came out pretty decent considering it was my first rollcage install.
Car stiffened up a lot and I feel a lot safer now.
Next on the list is a C4 auto tranny and custom intake.

Well after quite a few attempts to tune with the HX55 I've decided to down size the turbo. The twinscroll manifold spools it fast for it's size but the torque ramps up so fast it's going to murder me as traction is non existent at any speed at full throttle.
So going to try the BW S300sx 91/79, it's equivalent to a GT4088/94.
It's not the latest and greatest but for $$ it will get the job done. I was concerned about the size but it's similar to the 6466 with the compressor housing being 1" wider.
The BW weighs in at 27.5lbs and the 6466 at 23.5lbs

The HX55 will be going in 351w fox body project.

Went out tonight after over a year, with the new manifold & turbo setup to stretch it's legs on 18psi.
My buddy has 2012 CTSV with a tune, upper pulley, heat exchanger it's pretty fast and just wanted to see were he was at.
Here's a 3rd gear roll at 50mph to 140, I cant hear his horn so I wait for him to go on both runs.

Here's a 2nd gear roll at 40 to 150, I spun but my buddy stays in it knowing that I'll be chasing him down.

Glad to see it back on the road! What does the CTS-V run in the 1/4?

He's running 15psi.
Slow progress but starting to gather parts, C4 slip yoke, diff flange, Spicer 1310 U-joints. Paul is finishing up the tranny this month.Nebraska_e28 wrote:Any progress on the c4?

This guy used a 666 mani just like that on a stock m20.T_C_D wrote:That should be worth substantial HP where you want it! Great job.
Looks like it has a cam or something. You know how high rpm power completely dies on these engines normally.
I wonder if the m30 is more restrictive then the m20 though.
