**The car no longer runs.** The hard lines in the rear of the car are leaking and the gas itself is old. I had it running as late as last year, but would not keep it running longer than a minute or 2 since that coolant piece was not longer connected properly.
I replaced a few things in it when i first got it just as general maintenance: (Even though this was a while ago, there may have been 3,000 miles if that put on the car, when the bolt snapped)
Trans Filter
Trans Line to Cooler
Fresh Fluid
New Coolant System (T-Stat, T-Stat housing, Water Pump, Radiator, New Expansion Tank ,Coolant Temp Sensor, Heater Valve Hoses )
Driveshaft Center Support
Motor Mounts
Diff Mounts
Belts
Plugs (Bosch WR9LS)
Continetal Extreme Contacts DWS on 16" Basketweaves of an E38
Distributor Cap/Rotor
Bosch Heater Valve (I actually bought this new)
Fuel Lines off the rail
New Speed and Ref Sensors
That's what I can think of but there was probably stuff i missed as well.
Cons:
Has rust underneath. Will work on uploading pictures of this during the week.
Needs speakers and headunit. Rewired however and ready to go should someone choose to put a radio back in
Its been outside covered, but still outside for a few years now. I keep moisture things inside, and try to keep the area as controlled with traps and peppermint for any critters but I'm sure its not 100% effective in keeping everything at bay. Car would/should be gone through.
Interior is rough, seats are dry and cracked and dash has a few cracks as well.
I would hate to see it go as just parts, but it may be to that point now. This was my 3rd E28 but only one i ever let sit. I do regret letting it get to this point.
$2000 obo. It would need to be towed.
The last picture is what it looks like cleaned up after a wash, not too horrible from 20ft. Aside from the pictures of rust I'm also going to work on getting some interior pictures as well. Just wanted to get a few up with the thread.
